Hi, what a great website you've made! I've been thinking a lot about ditching my smartphone too! I've been trying to always carry a book with me, and to read that whenever I'm bored, instead of scrolling on my phone. It's really nice to know that other people are thinking along the same lines. I'm just discovering this area of the internet - the area of truly person websites, not just social media profiles, it's fantastic that this exists and I'm glad I found your website.

Can totally relate to what you've said too, I also spend far too much time on my smartphone and would ideally prefer to do without the blasted thing... maybe I should just go the same way you did. Hi again, Yes, I'm in Norway. I thought the BankID ID control was only for the BankID App, but maybe I have misunderstood. I use a codegenerator too. I used to to use cards with codes you would scrape to show, like a lottery ticket, before Skandiabanken was ruined by DNB. The card fit in my wallet and was very practical, unlike the codegenerator.

Love this website! Found it on nownownow.com. I am also on there. Dumbphones are cool! I used one until my work decided I needed to use MS Authenticator which only runs on smartphone OSes. (For a while i subverted that with pass-otp i WSL2, but then the authenticator stopped using open standards because MS heart EEE.)

Thank you!! Agh, the dreaded MS Authenticator. I have also dealt with this, although thankfully I had an alternative. Aren't closed standards great, even in the age of open 2fa codegen architectures? :-) I am basically waiting for the app or service that kills my dumb phone ability, like this. Are you also in Norway? There is a new BankID identification kontroll they are pushing out. I think my little codebrikke is not long for this world. I am planning a blog post about it!

hello! i found this blog from nownownow.com, which i found from someone else's blog, which was linked from the page for the blog software (bear blog) i love the aesthetic of this website, though i'm not quite old enough to have nostalgia for it (i grew up on flash games, not myspace/geocities) always cool to find more people who have made the switch away from a smartphone! i did it myself in october, and it's great. (still spend too much time on my laptop though. working on that). also fun to see it from someone around oslo. i saw the ruter-card and bankid-brikke and was like. omg! i have those too! this website is inspiring me to do more stuff on my personal site as well :3 feel free to email if you want to talk about dumbphones (or anything else)

Hi! Thanks so much!! Flash games were great too, it was a good era. Haha the dumb phone is great most of the time. It's still going ok!
